These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of www.doggyhomeschool.co.uk (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by Sarah Stepin & Ryan Stepin. This Site is an eCommerce website.

By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

 

Intellectual Property

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Sarah Stepin & Ryan Stepin. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site. Any photographs, recordings or other media taken during training the training programme becomes the intellectual property of Doggy Home School and can be used for (but not limited to) website and promotional activities.

Age Restrictions

​

There is no minimum age for use of our site. By using the services advertised on this Site, users agree that they are over 18 years old. We do not assume any legal responsibility for false statements about age.

Sale of Services

​

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of services available on our Site.

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that match the description of the good(s) you order on our Site.

The following services are available on our Site:

​

  • Dog Boarding & training. (2 Weeks).

  • Dog Boarding & training. (3 Weeks).

  • Dog Boarding & training. (Custom).

  • 1-2-1 Local Dog training.

  • Dog Boarding.

  • Dog Day Care.

A deposit of 20% is required to secure any booking. All remaining fees are to be paid in full no later than 24 hours before collection of the dog where boarding or day care are applicable. 

​

Fees are to to be paid in full 24 hours before the first session for local 1-2-1 programmes.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all the services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services we provide. You agree to purchase services from our Site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give a refund for services paid for but not yet received. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.

 

Payments

​

We accept the following payment methods for our services:

​

  • Credit Card.

  • Debit Card.

  • Bank transfer.

  • Cash.

  • Stripe.

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorise our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.

If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.

Refunds for services

​

  • The services will be fully refunded minus the 20% deposit if the services are cancelled at least 48 hours before the services were scheduled to be provided. With less than 48 hours notice you will not be refunded.

  • You are under 18 years old and not old enough to use this service.

  • The Services you requested may not be suitable for your dog based on the information received about your dog.

  • Should we suspend services due to an unforeseen circumstance/emergency we will refund any sums you have paid in advance for the Services (but not yet received).

 

Effects of Cancellation

​

If you requested the performance of services begin during the cancellation period, you are required to pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been performed until you have communicated to us your decision to cancel this contract. We will reimburse to you any amount you have paid above this proportionate payment.

We will make the reimbursement using the same form of payment as you used for the initial purchase unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any additional fees because of the reimbursement but will not be refunded your 20% deposit.

This right to cancel and to reimbursement is not affected by any return or refund policy we may have.

 

Consumer Protection Law

​

Where the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

Our Site contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third party websites before using these sites.

Limitation of Liability

Doggy Home School and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.

 

Indemnity

Except where prohibited by law, by using this site you indemnify and hold harmless Doggy Home School and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Applicable Law

​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Country of England.

Additional Terms:

​

You acknowledge and agree that:

​

  • Where the dog will be staying on the premises at Doggy Home School, they are to arrive no earlier than 08.00 on the first day.

  • Where the dog will be staying on the premises at Doggy Home School, they are to be collected no later than 10.00 on the last day. Failure to collect before 10.00 will result in an additional day care fee. Should the dog not be collected the owner will be contacted and charged an additional boarding boarding fee for each day of their stay.

  • Booking form requirements - It is vital that the booking form is completed in full using information that is accurate and up to date. Failure to do so will entitle us to invalidate the contract and refund services paid for but not yet received.

  • Doggy Home School does not use check chains/leads, prong collars, slip leads, head halter or aversive equipment that will cause a dog pain or discomfort for ethical reasons. Therefore dogs are required to wear a well fitting Y shaped harness and lead for their welfare.

  • You must disclose any history no matter how minor of aggressive or anti-social behaviour from your dog in a frank and honest manner with full disclosure of any previous incidents.

  • Bitches in or coming into season may not be accepted due to disruption to their and other dog’s training. Boarding in this instance will be subject to availability.

  • You will provide us with the dog’s season dates.

  • You will have an up to date and valid pet insurance policy that will cover any veterinary bills for the duration of your dog’s stay. If you do not have this you accept you will be liable for any vet bills incurred during your dogs stay at Doggy Home School.

  • Your dog is up to date with all vaccinations and worming/flea treatments.

  • You shall provide all medical information pertaining to your dog and provide medications necessary for the duration of their stay.

  • You will provide all food necessary for the duration of the dogs stay.

  • If required attempts will be made to notify the legal dog guardian of a vet visit for consent using the most up to date contact information. However, in the event of an emergency where there is a threat to life or welfare to the dog it will be at Doggy Home School's discretion to use the vet the business is registered to. The legal Dog Guardian will be responsible for any veterinary bills that may be incurred during the service period.

  • You are responsible for any damage or injury which your dog may cause to property or any persons or animals for the duration of the training programme.

  • On request, your dog will be transported in a company vehicle. You confirm that we shall not be held liable in the event of a road traffic accident resulting in death or injury to your dog.

  • Your dog may be permitted to socialise in an off-lead environment. This will be at the trainers discretion and in most cases is a very positive experience. However the risks involved are dog on dog fights, injury or even death.

  • Your dog is microchipped and will wear a collar with an ID tag in accordance with UK regulations. The information on these will be accurate and up to date.

  • You will follow any Training programme and post-training programme set out for you during and after the training period. You acknowledge that if this is not followed it will negatively affect the success of the programme and will only have a short term impact on your dog.

  • Where it is impossible for the dog guardian to retrieve their dog at the end of the training period the emergency contact listed will be contacted to retrieve the dog until the legal dog guardian is available.

  • Where the dog has been abandoned Doggy Home School will contact the local dog warden for relocation with the legal dog guardian liable for costs incurred.

 

Severability

​

If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.

 

Changes

​

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site.
